Looking for something local to do this weekend? Take a look below for some great local events in Halton and Hamilton for the Weekend of February 9th – 11th.
For all the families: The City of Hamilton invites the public to explore the city at Hamilton Winterfest. The 2018 program runs Feb. 3 to 19 and includes winter-inspired neighbourhood celebrations, theatre, and more.
For the outdoor adventurers: Discover the magic of winter at night! At Crawford Lake Conservation Area on Saturday February 10th, your guide will lead you on a snowshoe hike. The evening will end fireside with some tasty hot chocolate.
For the shoppers: There are a couple events you may want to take part in this weekend!
On Friday, February 9th Burlington Centre will be offering free gift wrap to shoppers making a Valentine’s Day purchase.
And, on Saturday, February 10th Join TERRA Milton at their Winter Market. This event runs every Saturday until March 17th from 10am – 3pm. There will 80+ local vendors selling items. Everything from fresh meats, cheeses, wine baked goods, hot sauces, coffee and more will be available for sale!
For the readers: Join Oakville Public Library on Friday, February 9th from 7-9pm for their Wine and Words event! Wine and apps included in your $20 ticket.
